Finansbank officially registers the capital and changes its name in Ukraine
12.06.2007
CJSC Finansbank Ukraine officially registered the capital and changed its name to CJSC Credit Europe Bank on Wednesday June 6, 2007.
The name change is due to the fact that FIBA International Holding (the owner of the CJSC Finansbank) has sold the controlling interest of Finansbank (Turkey) to the National Bank of Greece (NBG). As a result, the latter has received all the rights for using the brand name Finansbank. Accordingly, all international banking institutions under FIBA International Holding have been renamed as Credit Europe Bank.
Headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Credit Europe Bank has affiliates in Switzerland, Romania, France, Germany, Ireland, Russia, Malta and Belgium as well as representative offices in Turkey and China. The Bank is not new on the financial market, it has 20 years of experience. CJSC Credit Europe Bank Ukraine received its banking license on December 28, 2006. The general shareholders’ meeting decided to increase the capital of the Bank by 286 million UAH to 329,08 million UAH in total on January 4, 2007.
